Kristofer Covington TRS/TXC

I am Kristofer Covington, Im originally from Jackson, Mississippi. I now stay in Houston, TX where I called home for the past 6 years. I graduated from The Jackson State University in ‘14 with a bachelor degree in Therapeutic Recreation. I obtained my certification in October 2018.

I am a recreational and aquatic therapist, I work at the behavioral hospital and also in a community setting with kids with disabilities. I enjoy being in a therapist because you get the opportunity to give others a better chance to enjoy their therapeutically through recreation and the sense of satisfaction they get makes it worth every bit!

I enjoy outdoor activities which provides opportunities for the individual to get their mind off whatever their going through. My favorite group of people would have to be elderly patients because they have a lot of wisdom and young kids because their eager to enjoy recreational activities without knowing their actually doing therapy.
